Architecture is more than just structures, it is a form of storytelling that shapes the way people interact with their environments. As an architecture student at Louisiana State University, I’ve drawn inspiration from New Orleans’ rich tapestry of historical architecture and vibrant colors. This city has reinforced my belief that great design is both functional and expressive, creating spaces that foster connection and meaning.
Throughout my academic journey, I have worked to balance functionality and artistry, ensuring that each project integrates thoughtful design with purposeful intent. Last summer, I had the opportunity to intern at HughesTurnerPhillips, where I gained hands-on experience working on a variety of projects, from hospitals to law offices. This experience deepened my understanding of the architectural process, from concept development to technical detailing, and reinforced my commitment to creating spaces that serve both form and function.
As I transition into the professional realm, my goal is to grow into a versatile architect who values innovation, sustainability, and human-centered design. I am eager to apply my education, expand my perspective, and contribute to shaping spaces that inspire and endure.
