Living Classroom

The Jean Lafitte Living Classroom offers outdoor spaces for elementary and high school students to engage in hands-on STEAM activities like chemistry labs, gardening, and water quality testing. It also serves as a community hub with a wooden board-walk, educational sign-age, seating, and areas for relaxation. Designed to integrate with the natural landscape, the park promotes environmental education, citizen science, and community connection.
